I am undecided on what to do about something on the site so I thought I would ask for visitor input. It has to do with candid photos. Like a lot of people, I do enjoy seeing my favorite celebs in their day to day life – it makes them more “real”. However, a few of my celebs that I run sites for have been very outspoken on how much the paparazzi attention makes them uncomfortable and unhappy. This has made me hesitant to post candids on all of my sites. To my knowledge, Kate has never publicly said she hates the paparazzi and in any candid photos I’ve seen of her she doesn’t seem to mind. But I am still unsure… especially when it comes to posting photos of her with Lily.
So I ask you loyal Kate Beckinsale Online visitors, what do you think? Should I make the site paparazzi free? Should I continue posting candids? Should I only post candids that don’t have Lily in them? Please take a few moments out of your day and leave your thoughts as a comment.

I vote for paparazzi free or at least no paparazzi shots with Lily in them. If people want to look at Kate candids there are enough places to do so online.

I say stick to events where Kate is working {premieres, award shows, movie sets, parties etc.} The pictures where she is being stalked, with her kid in tow, are tacky, imo. It’s up to you, though. The pics are already out there so…
Btw, Lisa, thanks for answering my question in one of the other threads. Sorry if this is a stupid question but, do you own both this part of the site and the forum?

The more candids the better.. because I need all the kate I can get.. Please post all that you have.

Whatever you think is best. The candids will get posted in the paparazzi thread in the forum. So if anyone wants to see them, they can go there. I see no reason to post paps photos on the main site.

I don’t know. I will always check the paparazzi pics and frankly the celebs who relly don’t want them don’t have them, no matter how famous they are (I’ve seen maybe two blurry pics of Johnny Depp’s kids in the last ten years).
Right now the candids are being posted in the forum and I think it’s fine if it is allowed to remain this way and not be published on the main site. They are still easy to find for those who want them, and are all in one place dedicated to Kate. But they shouldn’t be banned completely, a fan community is incomplete if we have to go look somewhere else for some pictures.
There are enough places to find them online, yes, but none where there are all of them and where people put in common several sources to have the most comprehensive set of pics possible. There are also other places to look at red carpet pictures online. Isn’t a fansite supposed to be the place to find the best info and pics?

I don’t think we ever added paparazzi pics with Lily on the main site’s gallery. On the forum, we used to have a policy about not adding candids with Lily, but that was difficult to enforce.
I would vote against adding candids with Lily to the site’s gallery. As far as with Kate only, that depends on how often you want to update the gallery. Sometimes there will be plenty of event pics, but there will be dry spells also. I think having pap pics in the forum is enough, they probably don’t need to be added to the site gallery..

I vote for paparazzi:yes, Lily:no.
Kate openly courts the paparazzi for publicity (i.e. She dresses too well for trips to In-n-Out Burger), and I don’t have a problem with those photos. The ones with Lily should be left out, she’s a minor and doesn’t seek a public life.

I vote pap free, everyone deserves to have a little bit of privacy and posting photos of the kids is kinda tacky, they’re just kids who aren’t always able to say no to that yet. Your site is so good without them.

I vote it to be free as well. I believe she feels fine/don’t mind taking photo’s when it’s appropriate but not when she’s on the move – she looks uncomfortable.
