Hmmm let's see, my favorite band is Metallica but after that, here's some others of my favorites in no particular order: (there's so many that I could list here)
-Metallica- My favorite. Their music has been so influential to me it's astounding. They're the greatest live band I've ever seen perform and they're also the loudest. Legendary.
-Phil Collins/Genesis- Incredible vocalist with an unmistakable voice. Has tons of big hits that you've heard whether you realize it or not.
-Bob Schneider- Small Rock/Texas-Country style band from Austin, Texas. Very good showman who is a ton of fun to see live.
-Collective Soul- These guys are full of what I call "feel-good music." Whatever my mood, they can usually put me in a good one. Very unique sound. Love em.
-The Eagles- I feel these guys have the best vocals in rock and roll. Every guy in this band has an amazing voice and they all sing. Incredible sound that is all their own. They wrote some of the best rock songs ever.
-U2- Everyone knows U2. How can you not like their music? I don't know how someone can't.
-Eric Clapton/and all his bands- I think he's the greatest guitarist whose ever lived. He's been making music a long time. Great song writer.
-Dave Matthews Band- Outstanding adult alternative sound. They sounded very original years and years ago but now there are countless bands that imitate and unintentionally sound like them. They're still great though.
-Led Zeppelin- omg. OMG! The greatest rock band in the history of man! That says it all.
-AC/DC- Everyone knows their music as well. Has there ever been a band that has made more music that is as 'chantable or memorable as these guys. They put on an outstanding concert.
-Gravity Kills- Probably my favorite industrial sounding band. Whatever my mood, these guys can raise my adrenaline and make me want to break things!
-Lynyrd Skynyrd- Greatest Southern Rock band ever and one of the best rock bands in general, ever.
-R.E.M.- Created their unique sound when they formed and now a lot of music exists that sounds like them. Their music is special. I don't think it ages. The stuff they wrote 15 years ago sounds like it could have been written yesterday and it still sounds great.
-Black Sabbath- The creators of a genre (heavy metal). As many people say, Metallica may have perfected metal, but Sabbath created it. I agree.
-Michael Jackson- The King of Pop, the Thriller. He was on top of the world with his music before he became so strange.
-Pearl Jam- Another real innovator who created a very special sound that was immitated frequently. They have a lot of depressing music that has a great sound.
