I think it was the best episode period, though I do like Window of Opportunity quite a bit.

Well the season 10 finale was the best yet. I think it has something to do with growing up on the show, this ep was just fantastic.

Ok, now that the series finale has aired in the US:

1. I consider it to be the worst series finale I've ever seen.
2.Floggings for the cheap ass producers who wouldn't pay for appearances by O'Neill, Hammond, and a flashback to Dr Frazier. Including Jonas Quinn and Bratac would have been nice also.
3. Extra, to the bone floggings for the writers for doing such a lame ass job on the finale. The Asgard would have waited until literally the last second before handing over their master database? They wouldn't have handed over their fleet as well? It wasn't completely destroyed by the replicators. If they were willing to hand over all of their data they would have given up their ships as well.
4. In every episode dealing with time dilation fields it's established that actions taken inside the field last after leaving the field. This has been consistent for years of SG1. So why didn't they just fix the shield and then leave the field? With the shield at 100% they could have easily destroyed the Ori ship and made it back to Earth. Instead they did everything but work on the shield.
5. If this was the best the writers could come up with, they should have rerun 200 and called that the finale, maybe with a goodbye message from the cast at the end.
6. I'm hugely disappointed. Maybe it's best that this was the last season. Frankly only 200 and the Ori based episodes were good, the rest were lame.

Whatever, it's not like any of my first 4 points can be argued with, and it's pretty common knowledge that this was a weak season overall.

The first SG1 DVD movie has been delayed until early 2008 due to CGI taking longer than expected. I was looking forward to it this Fall

Anyone who likes Stargate should see Ark of Truth. It's not perfect, but it is as good as the best SG! episodes like Lost City and The Quest. I'd give it an 8/10 rating.

Bad news/good news- Atlantis has been cancelled, so season 5 is it. The good news is that Stargate/Universe will start next year.

Of the two dvd movies, I think Continuum was much better than Ark of Truth. i hope sales were good enough for a third movie.

Oh thank god. Atlantis was getting painful to watch, the only bright side to the show was Rodney.
