How about that Vick?

Postby Brian » Wed Aug 31, 2011 4:56 pm

I'm seriously considering never watching the NFL again. It's bad enough that they allowed a convicted dog killer back into the league, but now the Philadelphia Eagles have given him a $100 million contract. It isn't that Vick killed a dog, it's that he killed eight dogs, each in a brutal way, and was part of a dog fighting ring that killed at least 50 dogs in total. Personally, I think that 14 months in prison was too lenient, and there is no way that this guy should become filthy rich now. This sends a great message to the little kids who watch the NFL, you can do pretty much anything you want, and if you're talented enough, you can always get rich and be famous again.

How about those Canucks? No showing 4 games in the Stanley Cup Finale's.

Never have watched an NFL game so I could care less about Vick. From what I've heard on sports shows he's a high risk rusher who has a history with injuries so he may not be around for a whole lot longer.

I have yet to watch an NHL game all the way through. Dallas does have a pretty good hockey team, but we bribed them to move to Dallas from Minnesota.

Sadly the Stars are on the decline. They've lost their superstar and are on a ridiculously small in-house budget. It's really a shame because I tended to cheer for them whenever they were not facing my team.

Do they have cheerleaders? The other Dallas teams have great cheerleading squads, and that, in the end, is what is truly important.

I'm pretty sure they do as most of the American teams do. Even Edmonton has cheerleaders now (which is a complete joke for a Canadian market).

Vancouver has some seriously hot women. Their sports teams should have great cheerleading squads.

Our sports sell out without them. If sales dwindle (no chance) then it will happen.

I'm not sure about Edmonton having cheerleaders. Are they called The Edmonton Moose Hoofs?

Unfortunately they're still the Oilers. Although a few more season like last and they'll be called the Quebec Nordiques. I actually think their cheerleaders wear the smallest outfits (Dallas may have smaller though).

I meant Moose Hoofs for their cheerleading squad. Squads always have their own names, like the Seattle Sea Gals.

I honestly do not pay enough attention to know anything about the Oilers. Only found out they were the first Canadian hockey team to get cheerleaders by watching the news... the news.

Canadian Football League. They play football, just not as well as in the NFL
